We stopped in for lunch and I ordered the Haddock Fish n Chips, and my husband got the Haddock Fish Tacos. The Haddock was EXCELLENT perfectly golden brown with the right amount of crispy crunch on the crust. The Fish itself was fluffy and flakey and very good. We really enjoyed our fish at this restaurant and would definitely visit again if we are in the area again. The serve was friendly and served us well. The only strange thing was that our drinks were served in plastic cups instead of glasses which we thought was a little odd for a dine-in experience. Otherwise, a great place!
I think this place was very nice the view was very nice someone was complaining about how the docks were full but I think it depends on the time I may be young but I enjoyed this place I got the classic chicken sandwich, it was absolutely amazing the fries are delicious and the staff were nice but the only down side is the bugs. I understand they can't do anything about it so you can't blame them. If you were wondering the bugs start coming out around 8.
Inside has a nice vibe. The bartender made a great traditional margarita. Let's just say there were no leftovers!! My haddock tacos were the right combination of crispy and juicy. My friend opted for the chicken sandwich which looked great.
Okay so here's the scene: Beautiful day Just coached a doubleheader 15 travel baseball game. Our family and another family needed to eat fast. (And have a beer) Docs was the first one that popped up on yelp so we did a thing. Anyway I'd say that the best part of the night was the service. I didn't catch our servers name but he had personality and did everything we needed very timely. The food wasn't bad either. We had a pizza some chicken sandwiches and all that was good not great but i was happy and so was the rest of the table. The show stopper was the Rueben. Super good quality and they make their own corn beef this was not a store bought lump of sodium corn beef. Beer was okay too they had a bunch to choose from and the scenery was good too right on the beach. Id recommend this place definitely!
Great location on Saratoga Lake. They have tons of parking and are located next to Browns Beach. The waitress and the host were so friendly and courteous. We were seated right away upon asking for a table for two on the deck. We ordered drinks I Had the lakeside breeze which was delicious and you could taste the alcohol I ordered the special shrimp tacos and they were absolutely delicious. I had Cole slaw on mine because of my tomato allergy and it added a nice tangy taste to it. Eating outdoors and being able to lookout on the lake was picturesque and just settling after a long work week. I'll definitely be back!
